The Chicago rapper continues to add to a résumé that already includes a Yale fellowship and teaching gigs at MIT and Johns Hopkins. The Chicago rapper-turned-professor made the announcement on Instagram last week with a lengthy caption, which read in part: “Imagine if there was a 24-hour fully AI powered radio station trained on all the intricacies of my rapping abilities and was carefully refined to produce the highest quality possible Lupe Fiasco songs. And that’s not the only higher-learning establishment he’s been involved with: Fiasco was named a Saybrook Associate Fellow at Yale in 2023 and recently announced that he will be joining the Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute faculty as a visiting professor to teach a rap course for their new Bachelor of Music in Hip Hop program.
