Lucy Beaumont lands first major prime time TV gig since her split from husband Jon Richardson
The Hull-born stand-up, 41, is hosting the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024 final, which will crown the UK's hottest new comedy star.
Last week, she sparked rumours of a new love interest after Lucy was spotted with sound engineer Martin Wallace while departing a North Yorkshire Theatre. The final, which takes place at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham, will feature a special performance by 2023 NCA winner Joe Kent-Walters, AKA Frankie Monroe. Lucy and ex husband Jon, who is a team captain on Channel 4 series 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, started dating in 2013 after they met each other through friend Roisin Conaty and went on to work together on a number of shows including Meet The Richardsons on Dave.
