But as of April this year, she’s no longer strictly part of that duo – professionally or personally – and is powering ahead on her own path, which now includes a podcast with a former Taskmaster co-competitor, and her solo Lucy Beaumont Live stand-up tour. Lucy (famously and proudly) grew up in Hull with her playwright mum, Gill Adams, who won her own Edinburgh Fringe Festival award back in 1997 for best new play. Lucy was nominated for a Bafta last year in the Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme category for Meet The Richardsons, alongside Daisy May Cooper and Diane Morgan, and Siobhán McSweeney for Derry Girls (who won).
