Loveless Quietly Cancels Tour Following Resurfaced Domestic Abuse Allegations
Alt-rock duo Loveless has canceled its upcoming tour following resurfaced allegations of domestic violence against member Julian Comeau.
Last Wednesday, opening acts Julia Wolf and Beauty School Dropout posted similarly worded messages to their social media accounts stating that they would no longer be part of the Loveless tour after learning of “recent information.” He was issued three separate bench warrants in the year that followed for failing to appear for monitoring, which were then recalled, and the probation was completed in March 2020 not long after Loveless’ formation. In the wake of the allegations, reps for Loveless at Cardiff Giant Management and the band’s PR firm confirmed to Variety that they’re no longer affiliated with the group.
