Love Island's Tasha Ghouri makes a surprise appearance on Countdown in an unlikely TV crossover
The model, 25, has joined the iconic Channel 4 game show, fronted by Colin Murray, as this week's guest.
Vorderman, 63, who featured on Countdown from its 1982 launch and earned a reported £900,000 a year as its resident maths whizz, says show producers turned their backs on her without explanation following her departure. Taking a seat in the famous Dictionary Corner alongside Lexicographer Susie Dent, Tasha will watch the show's contestants go head-to-head (pictured on Love Island in 2022) GB News chief Angelos Frangopoulos recently claimed Vorderman 'snubbed a meeting' with him after she announced she was leaving her BBC Radio Wales job.
