Jessy also spoke to The Sun, expressing her appreciation for the time she spent with Joey in the villa, admitting they 'tried to make it work but it wasn't meant to be'. Despite leaving the show on her own terms, Joey faced accusations of "faking" his feelings for Jessy and being overly absorbed in the game tactics.
