Love Island's Dr Alex George gave a health update on Sunday after spending his week in and out of hospital.
Alex explained that despite having two procedures and receiving a steroid treatment on Monday, his throat had begun to swell up and worsen again, as he confessed he was finding it hard to stay positive. Returning to the St Thomas brought back some difficult memories for the doctor, as it was same hospital he was treated at when he battled sepsis, which left Alex bed-bound for several days and nearly killed him.
