Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu will be mixing with Hollywood A-listers at the upcoming Emmy Awards after landing a shock nomination.
And the episode has been nominated for Outstanding Cinematography For A Reality Programme and Ekin-Su is expected to attend the glittering ceremony, to be held at the Peacock Theatre in LA this September, and potentially pick up the prize alongside cast and crew. The series, hosted by Scot Alan Cumming, has also been nominated for Outstanding Reality Competition Programme at the Emmys, which will see the likes of Netflix hit Baby Reindeer plus US dramas The Bear and The Morning Show – starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon – battle it out for the major gongs. Her Emmy gong is a positive end to a tough year which saw her split from longterm boyfriend and Love Island co-star Davide Sanclimenti, 29, and become embroiled in a bullying row on Celebrity Big Brother which knocked her confidence so much, her team pulled her out of appearing on the series finale.
