‘Love Island UK’ season 8 alum Tasha Ghouri subtly dodged an interviewer’s question about her ex Giovanni Pernice and his recent misconduct scandal

Tasha, who is deaf and uses a cochlear implant, and Giovanni were reportedly involved in early 2022 but neither ever publicly addressed their relationship. Love Island follows a different group of singles every season who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa. Giovanni was a Glitterball-winning pro dancer on the U.K.’s Strictly Come Dancing and, earlier this year, his former partner Amanda Abbington alleged that he was “inappropriate” and bullied her in the rehearsal studio.
