Love Island star confirms his engagement to stunning girlfriend during winter break in Dubai - after admitting he hasn't cooked a meal for himself in years
The TV personality proposed during a winter break at the five star Atlantis Palm in Dubai , with the lavish resort providing the backdrop for a series of photos.
The couple have kept a tight lid on their relationship and rarely feature together on social media - although he did publicly wish Scarlet a happy birthday in front of the Jumeriah Burj Al Arab during a previous trip to Dubai. Taking to Instagram in March, he wrote: 'Random fact of the day - I've not cooked a meal since leaving my old home in Newcastle in 2021 (Cool or bit weird I can't work out).' Gowland admitted he had been taking trading tips from fellow Love Island star Jonny Mitchell, who has left his reality TV days behind to become an investment guru.
