Love Island stars Paige Thorne and Jacques O'Neill narrowly avoided an awkward run-in on the red carpet as they attended the same event after they split and caused romance rumours last year

She donned a blue and white striped Ralph Lauren shirt dress and a brown belt from the same brand and it was Jacques’ comment that caused quite the internet breakdown. Amongst the “omgs” and “fingers crossed this is a thing,” Paige subtly responded to the comment with two white love hearts, sending fans into a further frenzy and speculating whether in fact the two are back together.
