During the Love Is Blind season 8 reunion, Dave Bettenburg revealed if his ex-fiancee, Lauren O’Brien, was ‘the one that got away’ after their dramatic split.

Love Is Blind stars David “Dave” Bettenburg and Lauren O’Brien left the pods engaged, but they split before they actually made it to the altar. While they were vacationing in Honduras, Dave learned that he had mutual friends with a man Lauren had been in a casual relationship with prior to filming Love Is Blind. While he eventually managed to confess his feelings about their breakup to Lauren, she told him that while she wanted to “believe it so badly” she felt like they were “past” the point of getting back together.
