Louise Thompson reveals being 'fit and in shape' helped saved her life amid tough health battle

Louise Thompson has taken to social media to reflect on her recent health news by sharing a throwback vacation video from the Caribbean months before her surgery

Earlier this month, the Made in Chelsea star - who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2018 and suffered a haemorrhage in 2021 after giving birth to her first child, Leo - revealed she recently had a stoma bag fitted after years of health struggles. During the "Antiguan archives" footage, Louise was paddle boarding, "blissfully naive and totally oblivious to the chaos that was to unfold one week later." Louise has been very open about her stoma bag, confessing that it may have saved her life (Image: Instagram/louise.thompson)The mum of one said: "What I'm about to say might sound a little conflicting… I was told that one of the reasons I survived was because I was fit and in shape.
