For some, it was inspiring; for others, shallow: “I miss the days when rich people just built schools and hospitals, rather than sent bored housewives to space and embalmed themselves to still be really fecking creepy,” another lamented. Theroux was somewhere amidst fascination and disbelief- albeit for different reasons- during the whole interview, which itself morphed into a meme with a comment saying, “Louis’ face saying what we’re all thinking.” The podcast episode, streaming on Spotify, takes the listener to the center of Johnson’s weird and very secretive world-from his 8 P.M. bedtime all the way through to his “nutty pudding” diet on behalf of longevity.
