Louis Landau Joins Prime Video’s Spy Thriller ‘Butterfly’ As Series Regular
Amazon's 'Butterfly' has added Louis Landau to the cast of the character-driven spy thriller exec produced by and starring Daniel Dae Kim.
Co-created by Ken Woodruff ( The Mentalist, Gotham) and novelist Steph Cha, Butterfly explores complex family dynamics within the treacherous world of global espionage. The show centers on David Jung (Kim), an enigmatic, highly unpredictable former U.S. intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose life is blown to pieces when the consequences of an impossible decision from his past come back to haunt him, and he finds himself pursued by Rebecca (Hardesty), a deadly, sociopathic young agent assigned to kill him. Woodruff also serves as showrunner and exec produces alongside Cha; Kim and John Cheng for 3AD; Stephen Christy and Ross Richie for BOOM!
