Lou Ferrigno Plays Cannibalistic Pig Farmer in Horror ‘The Hermit,’ With Scatena & Rosner Selling in Cannes – First Look (EXCLUSIVE)
Scatena & Rosner take sales on chiller 'The Hermit,' in which Lou Ferrigno plays a cannibalistic pig farmer.
Dragged on a vacation to the woods, two self-absorbed teens named Lisa and Eric, played by Malina Weissman (“A Series of Unfortunate Events”) and Anthony Turpel (“Bloody Bridget”), venture off trail, stumble across a farm, go in, see animal heads hanging from the wall and “fight for their lives against an unstoppable cannibal pig farmer,” the synopsis says. In the horror film with an undercurrent of quirky irony, Ferrigno — seen in the first-look images above and below — makes and sells jerky made of human flesh. Ferrigno, who as a bodybuilder won several top titles and famously competed with Arnold Schwarzenegger for the 1975 Mr. Olympia crown and failed — as depicted in the film “Pumping Iron” — is represented by Eric Kind at Brave Artists Management.
