In anticipation of the launch, LAFCA — which is putting on the event to celebrate its 50th anniversary — announced two preview dates this year with filmmakers Michael Mann and Todd Haynes, whose Q&As will be moderated by members. “It’s the perfect venue in the heart of Hollywood for us to showcase some of our favorite movies, as well as to spotlight the incredible talents we’ve awarded over our rich 50-year history as an organization.
