Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts Joins Ice Cube for ‘It Was a Good Day’ at World Series Championship Celebration

Devoted Dodgers fan Ice Cube delivered renditions of 'Westside Connection' and 'It Was a Good Day' to open the team's celebration at Dodger Stadium.

Ice Cube rocked Dodgers Stadium on Friday as the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their 2024 World Series victory in their home stadium after winning the championship in New York on Wednesday. Cube opened up the event with a hard-charging “Westside Connection,” also with lyrical tweaks to salute the Boys in blue: “Before any of you Yankees get hard/bow down when you come to our town” and “We ain’t no haters like you/Bow down to a team that’s greater than you — fool.” Thousands of Dodgers fans poured into the stadium Friday for the home town celebration of the franchise’s eighth World Series title — including the team’s early decades in Brooklyn.
