The presenter, 65, has revealed in a new interview that despite her fame she hasn't forgotten her roots, saying: 'I don't even know if I have got confidence.'

Speaking in a new interview with Women's Weekly, Lorraine added that she has always been grateful to her parents for instilling an appreciation for the written words, having grown up in a working class household where money was tight. While she is no doubt a pro when it comes to interviewing big stars on her show, in recent months Lorraine has taken a bold new step into the world of social media. A source told The Mirror: 'Having been a famous fixture on TV screens for over 40 years, Lorraine is an expert when it comes to all things broadcasting but how will she get on in the virtual of TikTok?
