Lorraine Kelly has shared a major regret about taking HMRC to court in 2019, after she was slapped with a bill for £1.2 million in income tax and national insurance contributions

The TV host chose to challenge HMRC legally when she received an eye-watering bill for £1.2 million for income tax and contributions to the National Insurance. The decision of the court ultimately favoured Lorraine and she won her case, however, this difficult experience brought about one key regret for the beloved star. Accompanied by some raised eyebrows, her recent break left people questioning why she'd take holidays when she has no little ones at home.
