Lorraine Kelly reveals ‘terrible terrible pain’ and cancer risk that led to emergency op: ‘It was horrible’

Lorraine Kelly has revealed the reason she had to have an emergency operation to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes.

She made her presenting comeback on ITV’s Lorraine this morning (May 19) and shared an update with fans. While Lorraine confirmed she was “glad” to be back, she finally revealed the “terrible pain” that resulted in her operation. Dr Hilary agreed, explaining that while it may have been benign, it had the risk of turning into cancer one day.
