Lorraine Kelly announces return of TV co-star Dr Hilary Jones after major surgery

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly announced the return of Dr Hilary Jones during this morning's episode of Lorraine.

Dr Hilary revealed he had “a little disagreement with my Achilles tendon and a little boney spare at the back of my heel”, which he stated, “Had to be gone”. After the screen displayed a photo of Dr Hilary’s swollen foot with stitches in the heel area, Lorraine asked: “You’ve not been able to do anything very much, have you?” Dr Hilary also had gout over the holiday period (Credit: ITV) Despite taking time out from work, he said he was “on the mend,” feeling “fine” with “no pain”.
