Lorde has updated her social media with a single post after deleting everything from the account.
The Royals hitmaker shared several close-up shots of her bruised face, followed by a photo of herself smiling and about to dig into a banana split, with the injury still clearly visible. Fellow pop star Taylor Swift has employed a similar tactic when teasing new album releases, and recently, Lorde has also embraced a more cryptic approach in her posts. Although many fans suspected that Lorde was planning on releasing a new album, she took to her Instagram account at the time to express that she did not have a major project in the works.
