Loose Women's Gloria Hunniford begs 'please don't sack me' live on air
During the latest edition of ITV talkshow Loose Women, longtime panellist Gloria Hunniford asked producers not to fire her - "I would find it difficult to say goodbye"
Just this week it was confirmed that Jane McDonald had "no plans" to return, after a source originally told Bella magazine: "In September, Loose Women will celebrate 25 years on air, a feat nobody, especially the critics, thought they could achieve. A spokesperson for the 60-year-old singer denied this suggestion, stating: "There are no discussions taking place with regards to Jane returning to Loose Women whatsoever. ITV have introduced a brand-new PAYE-only policy in response to HMRC's off-payroll working rules, which ensure that a freelancer pays the same income tax and national insurance as a full-time employee.
