TV favourite Denise Welch is reportedly set to reprise her role in Waterloo Road in an unexpected return to her soap roots The mum of The 1975's signing leader Matty Healy earned the hearts' of the nations way before the BBC soap - when she played Natalie Barnes in Coronation Street from 1997 to 2000. Eventually, Denise won the 2012's series of Celebrity Big Brother, and make various soap appearances throughout the years - so it wouldn't be odd of her to reprise her acting roots.
