Logic’s ‘Paradise Records’ Trailer is a Rollicking Chronicle of a ‘Hero’s Journey’

On Friday, Logic once against traversed genres, and released the trailer for 'Paradise Records,' which he both directs and stars in.

Kevin Smith serves as the film's executive producer, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juicy J, and more appear in the chaotic comedy “I love range, as far as acting, from like drama and all types of stuff, but if I’m going to come out the gate, I just want to make people laugh,” he said during On Air With Ryan Seacrest at the time, teasing that the film would revolve around a record store, but not giving much past that. While the trailer promises a chaotic series of events from a robbery to a “plot twist,” the film will no doubt be centered around “the hero’s journey where something crazy happens” and Cooper will have to “figure it out.”
