Location, Location star Kirsty Allsopp devastated as she announces father's death - 'We loved you so much'
Presenter and crafting queen Kirsty Allsopp revealed on Friday 7 June that her beloved dad, a former auctioneer at Christie's, had died, saying he was 'the best of his generation'
Posting a photograph of her dad doing what he loved, Kirstie wrote an emotional caption announcing his death on Wednesday 5 June. She said: “This is my Dad, Charlie Hindlip, he was a great auctioneer, the best of his generation, an artist, a gardener, a father of four, and grandfather of eight, a loving husband to a wife he lost too soon. He died at home yesterday, surrounded by love, flowers and photographs, in a house he built, looking out over a stunning garden he created from scratch."
