Locals from UK town shocked as Hollywood legend pops into their chippy only weeks after losing his LA home

Workers at Steve's Fish Bar in the south Wales industrial town of Port Talbot saw a familiar face leaning over the counter at the chippy this week as they went about their shift.

Anthony Hopkins shocked locals on Wednesday as he was spotted tucking into fish and chips on a return to his home town, Port Talbot. And while his character Hannibal Lecter was famously locked up behind bars and in a straitjacket for eating other humans, Anthony was more interested in devouring a traditional Taibach takeaway. Dressed in a sharp black suit and a classic white button-up shirt, he posed for photos alongside his wife Stella on the red carpet and even offered a friendly wave towards the crowd.
