The US rapper, 56, is said to have stopped the BBC horticulturist in the corridors of the studios in Salford, where he outed himself as a huge fan.
The Mirror reports that presenter Nina Warhurst said she 'overheard in the office corridor... LL Cool J & entourage telling Monty Don they are massive fans and asking for a selfie'. LL's make-up artist is also said to have gushed over the chance encounter and revealed Monty had had a 'major impact on her life' and was someone she 'never thought she'd meet' - before thanking her boss for introducing them.
