Lizzo Teases She’s Working on New Music: ‘The Magic Is Back’

The star shared a muted clip of her recording vocals.

In the clip, the “Truth Hurts” artist appears to sport a simple black Yitty hoodie and headphones as she passionately belts inaudible lyrics into a microphone. Aside from her Barbie soundtrack piece “Pink” and her 2022 holiday song “Somebody at Christmas,” Lizzo hasn’t released music since her July 2022 album Special, which reached No. 1 “About Damn Time.” When she does officially make her return, it’ll be her first project since she was hit with a major lawsuit from several of her former backup dancers alleging sexual harassment and hostile work conditions.
