Lizzo slammed the White House for using social media to "troll" the American people, calling for "real change" in a series of posts.

She was a vocal supporter of Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign in 2024, and earlier this month, she subtly criticized sitting POTUS Donald Trump by wearing a “TARIFFIED” T-shirt while performing on Saturday Night Live — a clear dig at the politician’s new economic policies. The Grammy winner’s posts come at the start of a new musical era, with Lizzo dropping singles “Love in Real Life” and “Still Bad” in February and March, respectively. Last month, she announced that she had officially put the finishing touches on her upcoming followup to 2022’s Special, sharing studio photos on Instagram and writing, “ALBUM IS DONE YALL!”
