Lizzo is clarifying her comments after she went viral for saying "I quit," which many had interpreted the video as the singer quitting the music industry.
In an emotional post shared on March 30, Lizzo said, “I’m getting tired up putting up with getting dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet. “I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views … being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look … my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name,” ending the video with, “I didn’t signup for this sh**, I quit!” The artist has denied the allegations claiming they were “sensationalized” stories from “former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”
