During the creation of their fifth album LM5, the girls made headlines by moving from Simon Cowell's Syco label to RCA, amidst rumours of a clash with the industry giant. The Sun has claimed that the much-anticipated single features the line: "Sold my soul to a Syco", which appears to be a sly nod to Simon's old record company. Addressing the question of female empowerment in their music videos, she allegedly told The Sun: "We did a little bit but we had a switch of labels during the LM5 process and that really f***ed us over.
