Lisa Wilkinson steps back in time as she poses in retro outfit at Jesus Christ Superstar opening night in Sydney

The stars came out for the return of the '70s hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre on Thursday.

Wearing her auburn hair in a bob, Lisa topped off the outfit with a black sailors cap, silver drop earrings and a fluro orange handbag. The outspoken media personality went retro casual for the event, sporting a black pleated skirt, which she matched with a chain belt, high boots and a tight blue stripped shirt. The Yellow Wiggle bared her torso in a white two piece 'cowgirl' outfit that featured frills and consisted of a tie-front top and matching hipsters.
