Hunter Green appears in Amazon MGM Studios' docuseries Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story, now streaming on Prime Video. Hunter says Frank put up a "facade" around people to appear like "the coolest mom ever," but that behind closed doors, things were far more tumultuous. In response to the documentary, Frank released a statement which appears in each episode that reads, "I have loved art and have been an artists ever since childhood.
