Blackpink ’s Lisa made her solo debut at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, performing two of her recent tracks, “New Woman” and “Rockstar.” Along with her performance this year, Lisa was nominated for four awards for her solo single, “Rockstar,” including Best Art Direction, Choreography, Editing, and K-Pop. Lisa made her solo debut in 2021 with “Lalisa” and her accompanying single, “Money.” In the three years since then, she’s largely focused on work with Blackpink as they recorded, released, and toured in support of their 2022 album Born Pink.
