Lisa Ann Walter Wants to Do a ‘Parent Trap’ Remake with Lindsay Lohan and Have Her on ‘Abbott Elementary’

‘Abbott Elementary’ star Lisa Ann Walter wants to collaborate with Lindsay Lohan again. The actress exclusively told PEOPLE at the NAACP Image Awards on Saturday that she’d love to have her ‘Parent Trap’ costar make a guest appearance in the hit ABC sitcom.

Walter plays Philadelphia second-grade teacher Melissa Schemmenti on the popular ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, which won outstanding comedy series at the NAACP Image Awards. At Saturday’s ceremony alone, Abbott Elementary creator and costar Quinta Brunson, who plays fellow teacher Janine Teagues, won outstanding actress, while William Stanford Davis, who plays custodian Mr. Johnson, won outstanding supporting actor. In 2023 and 2024, the cast was nominated in the Screen Actors Guild Awards’ outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series category, with them winning the honor in 2023.
