Lionsgate Television Adapting Alexis Soloski’s Suspense Bestseller ‘Here In The Dark’ For Series
Lionsgate Television has optioned the national bestselling novel Here in the Dark, by Alexis Soloski, for scripted series development. Taffy Brodesser-Akner joins as executive producer, reuniting with producers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly, known for Fleishman Is in Trouble.
Megan Abbott, the New York Times bestselling author, co-creator and showrunner of the hit series Dare Me, will serve as both EP and writer. Abbott herself is a New York Times bestselling author of tension-filled narratives, i.e. Beware the Woman, The Turnout, Give Me Your Hand and several other major titles. The news of Here in the Dark comes as Lionsgate Television has myriad high-profile projects in development with A-list producers including Stephenie Meyer, Keanu Reeves, Chad Stahelski, Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures, LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill, Park-Chan wook and many others.
