Lioness gets a second season: The spy show starring Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan has been renewed
The news about the Taylor Sheridan-created series was revealed on Thursday, when it was also announced that several series regulars, including Zoe Saldana, were set to return to the program.
Chris McCarthy, who serves as the head of Paramount Global and as the President & CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, also shared a statement to speak about Lioness' success with viewers. 'Driven by Taylor Sheridan's masterful storytelling and Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana's remarkable performances, season two promises to immerse audiences in yet another riveting, adrenaline-fueled journey,' he added. Saldana spoke about Lioness during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and discussed how Sheridan based the show on his interest in the female-led U.S. Army program of the same name.
