EXCLUSIVE: Lioness star Bethany England, who competed during the 2023 Women's World Cup, has opened up about losing confidence on the pitch, hurtful crowds and how she winds down
Sitting down to speak exclusively to OK!,while her beloved dogs played around in her garden, Bethany spoke about her lifestyle as a professional footballer and the mental health impact. When asked how the crowd's chants can affect them, the Lioness told us: "I don't think it's as bad in women's football as going to a men's game and hearing the abuse shouted there. The striker shared: "The World Cup was such a whirlwind - we were all heartbroken and fell at the last hurdle but I'm very proud of what we achieved as a group and the experience will live with me forever.
