Line Of Duty writer Jed Mercurio 'set to create TV drama based on child serial killer Lucy Letby as he lines up two A-list actresses'


The former neo-natal nurse was sentenced to 14 whole life orders after being convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder six others last August.

In April, Line Of Duty star Marin Compston dashed fans' hopes of an imminent seventh series as he revealed a major update on the future of the BBC crime drama. He hopes that getting Game of Thrones star Sophie (pictured last month) or Killing Eve 's Jodie Comer on board will garner attention. The Scottish actor, 39, played Detective Inspector Steve Arnott in the hit show written by Jed, alongside Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar.
