Line of Duty star's cause of death revealed by grieving family
The family of Line of Duty star Brian McCardie have shared their heartbreak as they announce the actor's cause of death, after he passed away suddenly at his home
Taking to social media to share details of his upcoming funeral after tragically passing away on Sunday, 28 April, his sister confirmed that Brian suffered an aortic dissection - a rare and deadly condition where the weakened wall of the aorta tears, reports the Mirror. The team behind Line Of Duty, including producers Jed Mercurio and Simon Heath, released a statement which read: "We are deeply saddened to hear of Brian McCardie's death.
