Line of Duty and Trigger Point star Vicky McClure made a rare public appearance with her husband Jonny Owen at the premiere of the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man on Wednesday 27 November. The couple, who had been engaged since Christmas 2017, married in a ceremony at the Council House in Nottingham, and held an evening party at the Metronome in the city, with many famous faces in attendance. Vicky’s Line of Duty co-stars Adrian Dunbar, Martin Compston, Craig Parkinson and writer Jed Mercurio were there, along with TV host Paddy McGuinness, film director Shane Meadows and This Is England star Thomas Turgoose.
