Line Of Duty star reveals a major career change as they prepare to make their musical debut alongside a Tony winner in the West End
The actor, 65, will make his musical debut in the new West End production of Kiss Me, Kate.
Adrian will play Fred Graham, the show's director, producer and star, while Stephanie will take on the role of his leading lady, his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi. The musical was inspired by the on-stage/off-stage battling of husband-and-wife actors Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne during their 1935 production of The Taming of the Shrew, witnessed by future Broadway producer Arnold Saint-Subber. His comments came after Fleabag star Andrew told the Happy Sad Confused podcast about the time an audience member memorably took out their laptop to answer emails mid-show.
