Line of Duty star Vicki McClure is reported to be taking on the role of guest judge in the upcoming series of The Masked Singer alongside host Joel Dommett
Vicky McClure is best known for her tough roles as DI Kate Fleming in Line of Duty, Lol in This Is England and bomb expert Lana Washington in Trigger Point. I got involved with the Alzheimer’s Society before she was even diagnosed, then when she was I thought, ‘Oh, this is horrible.’ As an actor I get to portray lots of different people and it’s a really fulfilling job, but this took me away from that and gave me purpose. Martin captioned the video: “AC12 oot and aboot” in reference to Line Of Duty’s fictional department, Anti Corruption Unit 12, causing one fan to comment: “Oh my god please tell us this is the beginning of a new series!”
