Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar shows off his impressive singing skills in first-look video from his debut musical theatre role in new show Kiss Me, Kate

Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar shows off his impressive singing skills in his new musical Kiss Me, Kate.

He previously showed off his singing ability on ITV series Ridley, which aired in 2022, but fans will see him in a different light in his role as theatre director Ted Graham in Kiss Me, Kate, the beloved comedy farce, set to the soundtrack by legendary US composer Cole Porter, which first ran on Broadway in 1948. He explained: 'I'm so delighted to be returning to the stage this summer to my spiritual home at the Barbican, where I started my career at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, especially in this Cole Porter classic with the wonderful creative team including Bart Sher and Stephanie J. She plays his character Fred Graham's on-screen ex-wife Lilli Vanessi who features in his latest production, the musical version of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, and the pair clash on and off stage, which is why the show is billed as 'is 'a love story about two people who hate each other.'
