Lindsay Lohan's new film Irish Wish gets SAVAGED by critics who brand it an 'offensively bad' rom com with dialogue that feels 'AI-generated'
Lindsay Lohan's latest film Irish Wish has been savaged by film critics, with one branding it an 'AI-generated harbinger of doom'. It received a dismal 34% movie score via Rotten Tomatoes.
Otherwise, though, pretty much no theme-park Ireland cliche is left unturned in a Lindsay Lohan vehicle, directed by Janeen Damian, that reimagines Irish Catholicism as a twinkly, impish delivery system for magical realist plot devices. Tara Brady writes: 'Cartoonishly colourful cinematography brings emerald-tinted sparkle to Killruddery House, Lough Tay, the Cliffs of Moher and other tourist traps. John Nugent writes: 'As a fairy-tale romantic rendering of Ireland, Irish Wish is almost offensively bad; as another rung on the ladder for Lindsay Lohan romcom supremacy, it is almost, somehow, beyond reproach.'
