Lohan returned to “Mean Girls” as the moderator of the Mathletes Championship, a climactic surprise cameo that drew thunderous applause at the film’s New York premiere. 2024’s “Mean Girls,” a movie adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the 2004 comedy film, reigned over the box office during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, bringing in $33.2 million from 3,791 theaters.
