In season 9, episode 8, Carl threw a garden party in New Jersey to soft-launch the business, which he had invested $100,000 of his own money into, but Lindsay was nowhere to be seen. “I was asked a question about Kyle about why she’s making jabs all summer and I responded with an opinion in the moment and I regret even saying anything about her cause here we are with the post-episode story rant and bullet points about something that hasn’t nothing to do with that conversation.”
