Lily Gladstone will appear opposite with SNL's Bowen Yang in remake of 1993 rom-com The Wedding Banquet
The Oscar-nominated actress , 37, will appear opposite the SNL personality, 33, in a remake of the motion picture for filmmaker Andrew Ahn.
Joan Chen, Kelly Marie Tran and Yuh-jung Youn are expected to join the pair in the cast of the forthcoming movie, with Ahn and James Schamus penning the script. Lily Gladstone, 37, is set to work alongside Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang, 33, in a remake of 1993 romantic comedy The Wedding Banquet for filmmaker Andrew Ahn Bleecker Street CEO Andrew Karpen, an executive producer on the movie, said in a statement: 'I'm delighted to re-team with my longtime friend and colleague, James Schamus, on this inspired reimagining of a classic rom-com for the modern era.
